ABOUT Biokosmos
Founded in 1992, BIOKOSMOS aims to meet the needs of the Greek medical community in Oncology and Nuclear Medicine. In 2000, it launched Greece’s first cyclotron unit for producing short-lived radioisotopes—one of the country’s most advanced investments in nuclear imaging. Since 2004, its certified facilities have been producing radiopharmaceuticals for PET/CT scans, serving as a European reference point for researchers and students. Licensed by national authorities, BIOKOSMOS handles production, distribution, and transport of radiopharmaceuticals and continues to expand with a second unit underway in Northern Greece.
