Description
It is used as a diagnostic radiopharmaceutical in oncology in initial staging and restaging in studies of different neoplasms such as breast, esophageal, lymphoma, gliomas, and sarcomas. It is also use in monitoring of neoplasms response to treatment.
At the same time, it is used in cases of primary brain tumors, because it can distinguish low grade gliomas from high grad, providing information on the extent of these tumors.
